👨🍳 Is OpenAI cooking… or simply playing catch up?
/Productivity /Integrations
OpenAI released several updates this week, including Google Drive connectors, meeting transcription mode, and a lightweight memory option for free users. On top of this, they also released o3, their smartest model yet.
Honestly? It feels like they're playing catch-up to Claude and Gemini, who've had most of these features for ages. Better late than never, we guess!
Another neat release is the ability to export documents that get generated in canvas mode to PDF and Word. Nice one, OpenAI.
For a more detailed description, check out OpenAI’s X/Twitter release feed.
Real-life use case: ChatGPT - Multi-purpose chatbot, research, image generation and more.
💬 ElevenLabs just levelled up big time
/Voice
You might be wondering, what is ElevenLabs? ElevenLabs is a leading AI company trying to create hyper-realistic text-to-speech models. We have been following their journey for a while, and boy, is the V3 a major leap in creating hyper-realistic, emotional speech! The crazy thing is, they can even do it in Afrikaans.
Very cool and a little scary as well…

🧑💻 Cursor gets a massive update
/Coding /Productivity
For those who don't know, Cursor is VS Code's AI-powered cousin that developers are obsessing over.
Their V1 update just dropped with some seriously cool stuff - you can now chat with your entire codebase, make changes across multiple files at once, and the AI actually understands your whole project (not just random snippets).
Bottom line: if you're still coding without AI in 2025, you're basically using a flip phone at a Tesla convention.
Follow this link for more on the Cursor V1 release. Also see an interesting podcast on the future of coding as envisioned by Cursor’s CEO.
Real-life use case: Cursor - Coding IDE with an embedded coding agent.
